I just looked at the enlarged picture. It really is different paper on every book. I've never been to a shop with 121 different types of wrapping paper. He must have gone to lots of shops and remembered all the patterns he already had.
And he built the bookshelf as well - there's a lot of time and effort and thought involved in this present which makes it far more special than something someone just went and bought.
EMS beat me to it - I was going to ask to be adopted too. Although my dad does come over once a week and cook me dinner so that would be hard to give up! Happy Birthday, gorgeous present, what a great dad.

Yes EMS, we can be his new set of twins. We can get my biological dad to cook for us because our new adopted dad will be busy building us shelves and wrapping up books.
