Just be aware that, if there is something dodgy afoot, there's a chance that email from that account could be intercepted by a third party (actually, there's almost always a small risk of this)--so be very careful if you're dealing with confidential information, like banking details.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2949589573125647543.post-37664255638016550312011-03-29T16:25:48.406+11:002011-03-29T16:25:48.406+11:00yeah, course

For those of us who were part of the 16-bit console craze*, she's more of an icon than Michelle Yeoh & Cynthia Rothrock. Putting her in a feminist poem was about the coolest thing I could think of**.

*Carmageddon, released on PC in about '97, would be the last game I ever got into--brilliant stress reliever that it is.

**Could I get to read it, someday, do you think?
---
As for the question of email management--I'm guessing you also want something that:
1) Is a single application with a point 'n' click interface that's easy to install, configure and use.
2) Will access web-mail accounts via POP/IMAP/SMTP, as well as storing a copy of everything on your hard-drive.
3) Is NOT a full blown mail server (see points 1 & 2).
4) Will work on Windows 7.
5) Is inexpensive and preferably free.

My first thought is to have a go with Mozilla Thunderbird. If that doesn't cut it, you might have to think about ditching simplicity and using a split client/sever setup. Hope that helps.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2949589573125647543.post-90710672491287100062011-03-29T13:08:57.277+11:002011-03-29T13:08:57.277+11:00Happily, Ricky Ponting has just announced he's...Happily, Ricky Ponting has just announced he's standing down as the captain of the Australian cricket team.

Sadly, his replacement is not me.Ramon Insertnameherehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07367002511826523517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2949589573125647543.post-71373582980721856092011-03-29T12:18:34.233+11:002011-03-29T12:18:34.233+11:00Alex, I've had it with Outlook.
