Why do you hate me, Sydney weather?

So.

No Third Test.

Sod Sydney!

There's always the BBL.

And hey, at least the tests get televised in their entirety, unlike the bloody WBBL.

Not a huge fan of BBL, Alex.

Too exciting.

There was a frisson at the thought of a set of staged declarations. This possibility was explored with forensic diligence by the remaining ABC commentary team. I value rain delays as they provide that space. Not on Channel Nein, they just do endless reruns of soft victories. And fuck you Shane Warne. Knob.

Election Prediction. Labor will gain 11 + - seats, Independents 6 in the Reps, Libs/Nats form an unstable and entropic Government and the Senate is a fucking nightmare. But of course it's fingers crossed for a 4% uniform swing. My wish list includes a drubbing in Indi of the harpy Mirabella, and a pantsing of the buffoon Joyce in New England.

Oh, to be rid of Barnaby Rubble too; do I even dare to dream it Catlick.

The only thing sweeter would be if the Xenophorians could sweep both Christopher Pyne and Cory Bernardi out of SA.

How have you been by the way?

Hiiii! Alex. All good here. Insurance issues resolved. "clink" and "ka-ching!" I'm curiously awaiting the Senate figures on informal, donkey and fuck-nuckle voting. And yes, the X man might make life interesting.

Happy to hear about the "ka-ching". Slightly confused about the "clink" though.

How are the legs? If I remember right, the last lot of news wasn't great?

I'm also keen to see how many people vote for independents and minor parties this time around. Was talking to some rusted-on Nats supporters the other day who reckon they've switched their support to the Lib-Dems this time around.

That "clink" was the touching sound of cheap glasses filled with very expensive booze. The legs are compromised, but hey, aren't we all? As for flippy floppy Rural Socialists, I would be happy for them to grow a pair, break the coalition, vote with Labor, Independents and or the Greens on specific issues. Sooooo waiting for Saturday. Maybe Labor will do slightly better than I predicted. The thing I hope for (failing a clear Labor victory) would be a cobbled together fractious unsustainable short lived and doomed Coalition Government. *sigh

8.44 pm. I have a shit-eating grin. Be still, my beating heart.

So has Tony Abbott.

I've thoroughly enjoyed seeing them at each other's throats on Seven.

Looks like the baboon's arsehole will not be back. Sadly, it seems we're stuck with Barnaby though.
